"Well done Ranger Brian O'Donnell and Dr. Darrin Lowry! This is the second Smithsonian event that I have attended and each time I come away with a wealth of new information -- I can tell some of it stuck when I find myself telling others all about the rattle snake program and how a knife blade from South Mountain ended up on the edge of the continental shelf. " "What an excellent event this was! Both presentations were fascinating and we learned a lot. Both were not over anyone's head but were also not overly simplistic. There was also a nice bunch of cachers too and lots of very interesting conversations. Here's hoping for more educational events! TFTE!" The presentations were both informative, and in their own way, witty, a most excellent interpretive strategy. ... many stars for the presenters and sponsors!" We enjoy the outdoor classroom and hands-on features of these "The Doctor is out" events.
