UK Mega Event 2014 - Ayrshire and Arran : Exclusive Geocoins

Two Geocoins and a trackable have been produced to raise funds for the UK Mega Event 2014 - Ayrshire and Arran, which is on Saturday 2nd August 2014 in Ayr, Scotland. The Mega website can be found here.

 

The geocoins are themed to celebrate the Bard of Ayrshire, and Scotlands favourite son, Robert Burns. Each geocoin design has its own unique GC.com icon and can be posted worldwide. Both coins have a limited edition run of just 250.

 

The Rose Geocoin

This coin was designed to celebrate the romantic song 'My Love is like a Red Red Rose' written by Scotland's national bard Robert Burns.

 

The Star Geocoin

A Burns supper is a celebration of the life and works of the poet Robert Burns. The suppers are normally held on or near 25 January, the poet's birthday. One of the songs that is regularly sung at these events is 'The Star o' Rabbie Burns'.
