Fireflying
Hello, I have been hearing this saying and I'm not sure what this means. Do it "muggle b" style. I have heard it on several different cache logs. There is this geocacher named Muggle B. For a while I thought it had something to do with him/her as I've seen his caches or ones he had found around the area where I live here in wisconsin. But then I went to Minnesota a few weeks ago and heard the same saying. Quote Link to comment
+Trekkin' and birdin'
I know this one! Muggle B is a Fox valley area cacher in Wisconsin. He does not use a GPSr at all to make his finds. Instead, he uses his compass, a good look at satellite maps and tracking sense. He does a high percentage of puzzles as well. Quote Link to comment
+Walts Hunting
We ha a local NoGPS who does the same Quote Link to comment
Fireflying
Well that's crazy. Haha. But why on earth did I hear that in Minnesota. Has he been there too? Quote Link to comment
+Chief301
Well that's crazy. Haha. But why on earth did I hear that in Minnesota. Has he been there too? Not unusual, many of the most active cachers do a lot of traveling. Minnesota isn't that much of a stretch from Wisconsin for a die-hard cache hound. Quote Link to comment
+BigChiefS4
I live in MN and have never heard of Muggle B. In the Twin Cities area, there is a cacher called emmanogoldfish who logs his finds, "No GPS No Motor, No Map, No Notes.". He has two accounts, one he uses a GPS with, and one that he uses strictly geosense. Quote Link to comment
+Dogmeat*
My first hundred or so were found without a GPS. It's quite fun, but I prefer a GPS now. Saves a lot of time. Quote Link to comment
kanchan
I don't think the said cacher is globally recognized. IMO, the hint should help reasonable visitors at the GZ without asking hint for the hint here. Quote Link to comment
