+NickandAliandEliza
Download GSAK and filter on the attribute for Boat or Swimming or Wading. There's even one for Scuba..... Or maybe search Bookmarks that have already been created. Or set up a Pocket Query to find caches with those attributes. Edited September 21, 2013 by Nick & Ali Quote Link to comment

Thanks keithnipper49 Well if you ever feel like crossing the pond there is a series of 100 caches on the Shenago River Pennsylvania that awards those who find all of them with a coin. +MartyBartfast
You can also set up a PQ for caches with the boating attribute, but it's a slightly hit and miss as not everyone remembers to add the attribute, and some of the ones that do have the attribute seem to use it to indicate "there are boats nearby" rather than "boat required to find the cache), e.g. there's one in a park in Portsmouth which has the attribute, because there's a boating lake there where you can hire pedalos. There is a series along the Medway in Kent which I've heard good things about ( http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?wp=GC4K3RP ) which could be turned into a 2-3 day paddle along the river. +Amberel
Hi all, is it possible to put together a list of caches accessible by water, did my first cache via a kayak today, lot of fun, would like to do more. Thanks keithnipper49 If you are on FB join Extreme Geocaching UK. We have a database which you can access without joining the FB group on http://www.geocache.co.uk/ukextreme/ukextreme.htm , but it really is better if you do join the group because discussion about the database should take place there. +The Other Stu
I've come across a few.... Treasure Island, Norfolk Broads http://coord.info/GCD182 (I think the d/t is wrong) There's quite a few round Northants called "Float your boat" by 2 different cachers http://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest.aspx?key=Float+your+boat&submit4=Go And finally, there's an annual event called "The Boat Only Event" which was a couple of weeks back http://coord.info/GC4CVKC Mr Panteras is a lovely fella - might be worth contacting him to find out if he knows any boat-only caches worthwhile doing. Personally, I'm into bigger boats, but I've always noticed these come up and I do have the opportunity to do boating courses so I should really consider.... Quote Link to comment
