That card was a REAL halloween card, that's for sure. It startled me a lot when it started playing music once I opened it! Makes sense now. In the ones I use to translate it didn't make sense and 'rumzuspinnen' wouldn't translate at all ... 'Spinning a yarn' in English would be telling some kind of crazy or unusual if not impossible story. I think it originated because a strand of yarn goes on and on and on. Oh how they laughed 4. Mission Received It is SCARY to find out there is nothing spooky or frightening Down Under ... or even in Sweden ... What DO you folks do on Halloween night ... ??? ... remember ... this is a 'family friendly' site ... Oh don't get me wrong nevadanick we do Halloween in the AlliedOz household. But we are only a handful that bother in Oz, and nobody ticks or treats, so we hold a party instead. Tho in saying that we have found year on year more stuff in the shops (just not cards yet... yet.) I used to make all our own stuff or just make do, attached a couple of pics I took on my garage as we sort out what we have for this years party, sorry they are so big, only after I uploaded them I realised how big they are. One of the kids doing her best to act scared... right! The overflowing box of masks, heads and skulls built up over the years. Homemade cage for a spider looking a bit worse for wear as he has been around for years. Link to comment
