+Gitchee-Gummee
Is there a way to just search for caches that have TB's showing in them in my area? You can run a PQ specifically for caches that have a trackable listed in their inventory. Downfall of that, is many show a trackable as being there, but... it isn't always the case. Outside of that, it is boots-on-the-ground, at the cache, and opening it up to see if one is there. Quote Link to comment
+Walts Hunting
Downloading caches that show a traveler in them and then looking for them and expecting to find them can lead to severe depression and excessive consumption of alcohol. Quote Link to comment
+Quossum
Run the PQ to check for inventory, then take a quick look at the last five logs (GSAK makes this very easy). It should be quite obvious from those whether the listed bugs are likely to be there or not. "No travelers here," vs. "Dropped off a bug," etc. My husband and I always do a bug hunt before going on vacation and have been very successful this way. --Q Quote Link to comment
+Lieblweb
If grabbing TB's is your mission......... I've tried that...and... Don't bother with PQ's or looking at inventories. Around here where I live, there's a 10% chance a TB listed in inventory is inside the cache. I have a few caches near my home that the CO's actually take care of the inventory listings to match the contents. If I want to trade TB's, I'll look at those caches first and trade from them because I know the inventory is 'correct'. Other than that...you'll be disappointed almost every time when you see the TB's are not inside. Edited September 18, 2013 by Lieblweb Quote Link to comment
