+Monkey_Chops
What does it actually mean to have a geocacher as your friend on gc.com? I've got a facebook account and so am familiar with what 'friends' mean in that context, but I can't seem to see any real reason or benefit for friends on gc. Any thoughts? Quote Link to comment
+niraD
There have been a number of suggestions for how the "friend" feature could be used. For example, it would be nice if you could run a PQ based on caches that your friends have or have not found, in addition to caches that you have or have not found. But all that exists now is the ability to view a list of your friends. Quote Link to comment

If I see that 3 of the 4 in the group have found it, and I'm the only one that hasn't, I'll skip bookmarking that one. By the same token if only 1 has found it then it goes on the list for the rest to hunt. Quote Link to comment
