Photo Competition - September 2013

Clue-72

Recommended Posts

Thanks very much to MikeyG and family for choosing my photo from the many great photos submitted.

This month's theme is: Highs and Lows. Whether from the top looking down or from the ground looking up, which of your caching adventures has required you to scale new heights or plumb new depths?

The rest of the rules are:

1) The photo must be cache related and to do with a specific UK cache (any type including events), caching series or caching trip - please include a link to the cache or the GC.... code so we can see where the picture relates to.

2) Maximum of two photos per caching team or cacher.

3) A new thread is started each month, with the OP stating these rules.

4) The winner each month is decided by the winner from the previous month - the new winner starting the thread for the subsequent month. They may set a theme if they wish.

5) Follow the theme

I've got a photo I'd like to enter....if only I could figure out how to attach it to a message!

Your photo needs to be hosted somewhere first - e.g. attached to a cache log, or on Flickr - then it'll have its own URL.

Once you have the URL, open a forum reply box in the usual way and click on the tiny square 'tree' icon. Paste the URL into the little box and click 'Insert image'. Add any other text in the usual way before submitting your post.

Many thanks to those who submitted their pictures, though I'm afraid Team Airtomoreira missed the deadline. I found it quite tricky to judge as they were all so different, but I think the one that really stood out as being a unique caching experience that fit well with the theme was the photo of the flooded fort by Splendidz. Congratulations. :)

Over to you, Splendidz!
