Hello, I'm a French geocacher,

When I log a Geocache, it's written (in English version):"Logged on : DD/MM/YY", in French, it's written: "Connecté sous : DD/MM/YY" but this translation doesn't mean anything in French the right translation is "Logguée le : DD/MM/YY" I hope you will fix it soon :).

It looks like the translators already found this error and suggested Trouvée le:

Next time the website updates, this change will be made.

Thanks!

"Trouvée le:" mean "Found the:" this translation work only when you found the cache, but not when you Didn't find it or will attend (for exemples).

If you choose this translation, you ave to create other status for all type of logs, like :

-"Didn't find it" = "Non trouvée le:"

-"Need maintenance" = "Besoin de maintenance le:"

-...

The translation : "Logguée le:" work for all type of logs, not the translation "Trouvée le:" (it only work for Find log).

You tried to correct the error, the translation change, but the new translation is worst then before . Now when you log a cache, it's always written you found the cache...

In the French version, we can read that :

"Non trouvée

Trouvée le : DD/MM/YY"

In English that mean :

"Didn't find it

Find the: DD/MM/YY"

The translation you choose work only for Found logs, The translation "Logguée le: DD/MM/YY" work for all type of logs, that's why I prefer the translation "Logguée le:"

The community volunteer translators have not had an opportunity to make a change. What you currently see on the website is an old set of translations that was automatically uploaded to the website. Once the translators make the update, the new translation will be applied. Thanks for your patience! And, also, thanks again for pointing out the problem and explaining it so clearly!

OK, I know, i'm not very patient :D.

I love good translations, I think that's important for French Geocachers, that's why I explain clearly
