+Volanges
Yesterday while out caching, made notes about the various caches on my etrex 30. I can find no way to access these notes now. I know I'm not the most technologically advanced person but... Quote Link to comment
+Gitchee-Gummee
You would find those notes you made in "fieldnotes". We don't use a Garmin, so I cannot direct you on how to access them. Our Delorme allows for their easy access: Main Menu > Caches Found > Fieldnotes. EDIT to add: You might try looking at "Found caches" or "Caches Logged" or something akin to that. +Mr. Wilson & a Mt. Goat
There should be a text document located in the Garmin folder of your GPS called "geocache_visits". If you open the document in notepad (or similar) it should give you something like this: GC2JFHW,2013-08-22T19:28Z,Found it,"TB" GC2JFMF,2013-08-22T19:35Z,Found it,"(comments)" GC2JFN9,2013-08-22T19:44Z,Found it,"" GC1T8VJ,2013-08-22T19:57Z,Found it,"" GC1T8VW,2013-08-22T20:01Z,Found it,"" GC Code on the left, date/time, log type, and any comment you made is on the right. You can also upload this file to gc.com and view all those field notes here: http://www.geocaching.com/my/fieldnotes.aspx This is a very handy feature! Edited August 25, 2013 by Mr. Wilson & a Mt.
