Guest Firecat
I have a Magellan 4000XL and under Lat & Lon It has three choices (Deg/Min.MM) and (Deg/Min.MMM) and (Deg/Min/sec) Now on the form to fill out the Cache info,it says to use (HDDD MM.MM)I DON'T HAVE THIS ONE LISTED.. So I have been using Deg/Min.MMM It is the only one listed that will let me enter 3 digits on the end. People have found my Caches but I wounder is this the same thing or what. Please help. ------------------ Milt (Firecat) Quote Link to comment
Guest Mike_Teague
Yes HDDD MM.MMM is the same as "Deg/Min.MMM" the H is for the hemisphere. ie. N S E or W D is for degree, M is for minute, S is for second. Quote Link to comment
Guest Firecat
Thanks Mike, I thought that was right, but I was beginning to think my GPS was not up to par. I knew there was a professional out there somewhere. I use it all the time in the Everglades but Inot on that setting. Thanks again.....
