Duosearch
Hi guys just want to know, do you need to get permission to put geocaches on public land and if so who do you ask? Quote Link to comment
+sasqwatches
If it is state land then the DNR if it is county land then either the county forestry dept or county parks and rec sometimes they are the same dept, city land contact the park and rec or city hall And the reviewers I have to deal with require you to state who granted you permission in your cache description even though it is not required. All that it states is that you get permission. GC guidelines Edited July 23, 2013 by sasqwatches Quote Link to comment
+Bear and Ragged
Hi guys just want to know, do you need to get permission to put geocaches on public land and if so who do you ask? As you are in the UK have a read of http://www.follow-the-arrow.co.uk/ in the section "Hiding a cache" the site is written by one of the UK Reviewers, and has all the links you need. +Bear and Ragged
Distance from original: 347.4 feet or 105.9 meters.Hi geocachers sorry for co-ords mess up GPS gone hay wire! Am in process of purchasing new one. So stay tuned for more... I've got a few lined up for Cornwall and Somerset. Thought I recognised the name... Suggest you find a few more caches first. READ the guidelines. There is a section on Vacation caches. If you hide caches away from home, how will you maintain them? Quote Link to comment
