WTB: Used GPS in good condition, for beginners

Just got into geocaching with my kids and have been using my cell phone (using c:geo app) however battery runs out too quickly to be of much use for longer hikes. I would like to buy a GPS unit - I starting looking at new units - Garmin eTrex 10 or 20, and Magellan eXplorist GC, 110, 210, but really would love to find a used GPS in good condition. Searched ebay and got overwhelmed. I realize some of these lower end units are not recommended by many experienced Geocachers, but this is just something for fun to do with my kids on weekends - we do not plan on doing very difficult searches and don't need fancy features. I was happy with the c:geo app on my cell phone - just need something where the battery will last longer than an hour! If you have a good beginner model for sale, or can point me to one on ebay, I appreciate it. Thanks!

hello, just joined today. looking to start doing this with the kids. If the Rydrewgeo doesn't take it I would be interested. I was going to use my iPhone but i feel its better to teach my girls how to read and use a map and coordinates.
