Puzzle solved but not found

Some COs allow finds without actually finding the cache. If that's your sort of thing, fine, but if you can't come out to find a cache, you don't tell the CO you're going to log it as a found anyway. You're supposed to ask for permission first.

I'm not sure. I've never experienced an armchair log on any of my caches, either traditional or otherwise.

Would you like me to file one you so you can form an opinion? Now I'm curious if it would feel different to you than the solved-but-not-sought puzzle cache find we've been discussing.

If not, just nab whichever one appeals to you.

Seeing the blatant armchair find, in person, may make me rethink my casual attitude toward finders.

for that peole MUST sign the physical log book in the cache.

a CO is expected to check and delete spoof logs, see the guidelines
