+Splendidz
Hi, I've noticed your name come up this week on a couple of caches on my watchlist this week - so I presume you aren't far from me I'm from Market Harborough - I'm always happy to help if you need advice on local caches or anything! +Lord_Blackadder
I think going to the event would be a good idea. Quote Link to comment
lulabelle90
Thanks for the replys! Yes Splendidz, im not far from you at all, im based in Corby. I tried to do the Harbcache Hike yesterday but i couldnt find the first 3 so i gave up for the day. Must not have had my head on properly or something. Thanks Lord_Blackadder, i will be attending. Would love to meet some other geocachers, havent seen any on my travels. Quote Link to comment
+milvus-milvus
How do i know who is a geocacher or a muggle at this meet? You will have to use the secret handshake. Unfortunately no-one has shared the details with me yet... Look for a bunch of people "dressed for the outdoors", sitting in a corner somewhere, with a pile of rucksacks, tupperware, GPSs, geocoins and other paraphernalia stacked high on the table in front of them. Then go and join the muggles quickly - it may be your last chance... Hope to see you there. Baz. Quote Link to comment
lulabelle90
Well Baz, as much as i would have loved to join the muggles, you've enticed me with the secret handshake! Hopefully i would have found a few more caches by then and will be a little experienced in geocaching. See you at Wootton Quote Link to comment
+chillypenguin
If you click on the other attendees names next to their "Will Attend" log, it will take you to their profile. From here chose "Gallery" and you will find pictures. So you have an idea who to look for. Quote Link to comment

+GTTTM
one of these days I WILL make one of the northants meetups. I've only ever met one other local geocacher - Lord Blackadder, and that was only briefly as we passed him logging a find we'd logged a little while earlier. Quote Link to comment
+milvus-milvus
29 caches found on one day? You're not such a newbie any more! Quote Link to comment
lulabelle90
Thats because it was an easy walk and i did have help from a friend. However i missed 2 caches on the walk and i got stung. I found a screw cache the other day which was very interesting. Quote Link to comment
+angellica
Hi and welcome! Why not look on the event and ask if someone will meet you outside first? It can be overwhelming to walk into a group of unknowns. Enjoy geocaching Quote Link to comment
