+terratin
Hi there, I was hoping to add a waymark for Ayla (Wikipedia), an ancient town in modern day Aqaba, Jordan, but I can't find a proper category for it. None of the categories under history seem suitable, so I'm hoping for a suggestion. Thanks, Mr. Terratin Quote Link to comment
+BruceS
Two categories that this could be submitted Remains of Settlements and Wikipedia Entries. Quote Link to comment
+terratin
Two categories that this could be submitted Remains of Settlements and Wikipedia Entries. 'Wikipedia Entries' is one of those categories I personally don't really like and thus I'm not willing to add the site there. I did see the Remains of Settlements category, but the description of the category specifically states: "This category seeks those evidences where we can find remains of settlements off the beaten path, in unpopulated places, and particularly in nature."; Ayla is right next to a very beaten path (tarmac), in a quite populated place and definitely not in nature... So I thought the site not suitable for this category, even though it are the remains of a settlement. Cheers, Mr. Terratin Edited June 3, 2013 by terratin Quote Link to comment
