summerwinter
Hope some one can help me. When I get a pocket query there are ususally about a 100 caches. When I go through the list and check which ones I want the check marks only hold while I am on that page. How do I get the list to hold all my check marks on all the pages until I get it loaded into my GPS unit. I have a explorist 500 and a newer laptop computer. Summerwinter Quote Link to comment

Summerwinter Is there a reason you don't want all the caches that come in the pocket query? Because the simplest thing to do is just unzip the file and drag and drop the two gpx files into your Explorist - the cache one into the Geocaches folder and the waypoints file into the Waypoints folder. Then you have all the caches in a few simple steps. Quote Link to comment
+Don_J
What you are actually doing is previewing the PQ. Using this method, you only get limited information in the files you are downloading. What you need to do is "Run" the PQ. You do this by checking off a day for it to run. It can be the current day if you want it right now. After it has run, you can download it from the 'Pocket Queries Ready for Download tab. This will give you a zip file that has the caches in it with the full details and descriptions for paperless caching. As I don't use a Magellan, I don't know the procedure for loading it onto your GPS, but hopefully someone else will post and advise. Quote Link to comment
