Anybody from Alberta (or Canada) going to the Geocaching Block Party in Seattle in August?

I'm considering making the trek from Calgary (I would be flying to Seattle) and wondering if anyone else was considering checking out the festivities this year? It would be nice to meet up with some other travellers so I'm not all alone the whole time!

You could always come to Medicine Hat that weekend. We have 6 events in three days and you could drive down.

I'm thinking of driving down to Seattle on the Friday, caching Saturday and Sunday, and then driving home on Monday.

There's usually a good size contingent from BC and especially Vancouver Island. I think we're going, but we're not deciding for sure just now.

Most of the NoisyHikers will be there. We drive down from Vancouver, BC. Last year we were just in town for the afternoon. Hopefully we will be able to spend more time in the area this year and take part in more of the activities.
