+prodrive
Just watch the video shoot by geocacher Gato Maltês https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=a0Pqmm4JAMk Quote Link to comment
AZcachemeister
I'm not afraid of heights, but the fisheye effect, camera panning, and odd angles made me woosey! <insert nausea emoticon here> I couldn't watch the whole video, but if that trail leads to a cache it looks like a really fun one. +prodrive
Yeah! The video effects makes the trail looks harder than it really is. It ends with a cache: GC30HQ2 Quote Link to comment
+BBWolf+3Pigs
The use of a helmet mounted camera vice mounting it to the bike I think is what is causing the "nausea". I have mounted my GoPro to a bike and kayak, and if there is nothing in the field of view to "fix" your view, it can be quite irritating. On the kayak, I mount the camera so just the very tip of the kayak is seen in the FOV. This way the camera is always "level" while the surrounding view moves around the tip of the kayak. Much less unsettling. Quote Link to comment
+prodrive
The video was shoot in a foggy day, with a huge percentage of humidity in the air. I don't know if that contributes also for the nausea effect. Quote Link to comment
