It specifically says src is no longer valid in the html code box. Whats the new method? Where exactly are you seeing that it's no longer valid? "img src" is the only way to display an image, so it's very much still valid. Are you maybe missing a quotation mark that's causing the tag to not work? Quote Link to comment
+d three and cappie g
Heres a copy of what is listed under VALID html codes on the cache submission page img alt, align, border, class, dir, dynsrc, height, hspace, lang, ismap, longdesc, lowsrc, name, src*, style, title, usemap, width, vspace * Base64 encoded image strings are not valid Quote Link to comment

For a long time, you were able to copy and paste an image directly into the description fields in the submission form. The entire data contents of the image would be contained within the description, significantly bloating it. I've even seen single-cache GPX files as big as 10 MB when someone did this! All that note is saying is that you can't do this anymore. The "src" attribute is still completely valid if you use it to point to a URL. Quote Link to comment
+WRASTRO
I submitted a cache late last night and used the "src" attribute to include my first two ever pictures in the body of the page. Quote Link to comment
