+Team Liopleurodon
Does anyone know if there is an easy way to create a pocket query for a bike path? I've noticed that the pocket queries for 'along route' seem to only be for driving directions. Could I create one specifically for the Mason Rail Trail that goes from Greenville, NH through Townsend, MA? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Team Leopleurodon Quote Link to comment
+Team-Facetious
You could upload a gpx, kmz or kml file of the path and search from that. I've never tried it until now but I used a Mt. Hood .gpx file http://www.travelbygps.com/gpx/timberline.gpx and uploaded it and put in my query and came up with over 280 caches on those trails. +Team Liopleurodon
Thanks for your quick reply, but I don't think I understand your answer. I use a garmin, so I could upload a .gpx file. I do not know where I could search for a bike trail. Where was your link supposed to lead because it took me to a bunch of HTML code! Quote Link to comment
+Team-Facetious
Sorry about that, I thought I had copied the link correctly. It was just an example of a gpx file that I used. You can search for gpx files or the like online or there are some map services that you can use to create a path and export your own gpx file. Upload this file into geocaching.com and do your pocket query. Quote Link to comment

+Brian_of_Bozeat
I'm new to this too, but I'm an old hand at Bike GPS. You can create a course at any of a number of websites (even the garmin one) and download the gpx of that. Good luck. Quote Link to comment
