+hydnsek
It's a sad day in the Northwest caching community, as we've lost one of our finest. Yumitori, aka Ron Martino, passed away yesterday (4/29). Ron was one of the best-known Montana cachers, playing a key role in the Missoula Cache Machine and holding many biking event caches on the Trail of the Hiawatha and the Taft Tunnel. Kidvegas19, who knew him well, said it most eloquently on Facebook, and many of Ron's friends have posted there as well: Quote Link to comment
+CdAGeoGeeks
We never got to meet him, but thoroughly enjoyed his caches. He was a big part of the Montana and Idaho caching history. RIP. Quote Link to comment
+CdAGeoGeeks
The local NBC affiliate has a short story. My link Quote Link to comment
+Jennifer&Dean
I have to discuss this with Peggy and Miriam but there has been a few requests in the community for an event. His Birthday would have been at the end of June so we are going to discuss having an event around then. Will keep folks posted. Jennifer Quote Link to comment
