+wyrdsister
Hi I was wondering if you can create more than one account on a single email address,we are getting to the point of the kids having their own user id but dot want more email addresses. Quote Link to comment
+hzoi
This has come up in the past, and the conventional wisdom is that the website no longer allows different accounts to share the same email address. An easy way to work around it may be to set up another email address, then set it so that it automatically forwards all emails to your main account. Quote Link to comment
+Lieblweb
You'd have to setup an email account for each child in order for them to create their own account. You could use a separate gmail account for each child, create their own Groundspeak account(using their gmail address) and setup each of their gmail accounts to forward to YOUR main email account. However - that might become a bit annoying. You will have to keep track of all email accounts...deleting the inbox & such. How many kids are there? You could create ONE account for ALL the children - as a 'team' and/or 'family' account. One extra email .... Until they are ready for their own account and can manage their own email accounts. +wyrdsister
Thanks for that, given these are family found finds (mostly) is there any way to ask the fares to transfer the already found caches across to each new user? Quote Link to comment
+K13
Thanks for that, given these are family found finds (mostly) is there any way to ask the fares to transfer the already found caches across to each new user? That is something you will do. Each new account can go to each of the prior finds and post a "Found It" log, saying something like, " Found as a part of 'wyrdsister', logging in my new account. " The CO should have no issue with that. Quote Link to comment
