+FMT15 Posted April 21, 2013 Share Posted April 21, 2013 I'm on a roll of needing basic questions answered today that I cant find answers for... I'm looking into getting an Oregon 450 and I can't tell if you can look at the map on it and see a bunch of geocaches on it, or if you can only see one of them once you select it. If I were to go hiking or biking, and I just wanted to follow the trail until i see a cache appear on the map, would I be able to do that? Thanks! Quote Link to comment

You can use a Pocket Query or manually load them, but it is not automatic. Once they are loaded onto the device, they will display. So the short answer to your last question is yes. But the caveat is that you must have already loaded the geocaches in the area onto the device. Quote Link to comment
