+broadoak2006
How do I set up the caches I have downloaded to my Garmin 450 to be searched for in a particular order ie rather than the Garmin showing me just the nearest cache after i have successfully logged a find, I want it to display next a particular cache that I have previously decided I want to find next Thanks Quote Link to comment
+Kris32
I don't think that is possible. I generally know what caches I want to do. I have them printed out on a map and just select the next one I want to do. Alternatively, you can view your map view on your unit and select the one you want to do from there. Quote Link to comment
+JBnW
You could pre-load a route made from Basecamp (or Google Earth or anything that will generate a GPX route file), with the route following the cache order you wish to find, then follow the route and pick up the caches along the way. Kinda clumsy, but it works. Quote Link to comment

Kinda clumsy, but it works. You could also do the same thing using the routing feature in the GPSr itself...but that would probably be a royal pain indeed. Some sort of route is probably the only way to do what the OP wants. Except for just knowing what cache they wanted to do next. Quote Link to comment
+ngrrfan
Another possibility is to rename each one to a number. Then hunt for the next number. Quote Link to comment
+JohnCNA
Getting your GPS to know what order in which YOU want to find the caches is probably more trouble than it's worth. I just use the map display and click the icon for the one I want to go after next. In large forest preserves I might print a map first and pencil in some route lines as a reminder of specific paths I want to follow. I have also used Google Earth to draw tracks and import that into the GPS, too. That's rather tedious but rather cool to have on the GPS display. Quote Link to comment
+edscott
I do a combination of two of the suggestions above. First I download a map of the area with all the caches on it that I've not done.. then cross out the ones I don't want to do... unworked puzzles etc.. then number them in the most logical sequence. AcademiaNut
While not a GPS trick, I add all the destinations to a Google Map, then juggle the order around until I have a logic sequence to visit. Quote Link to comment
