+dolites
I have a Macbook Pro computer and a Garmin 60csx which is paperless. I've made a pocket query and it was emailed to my computer. I can't open it however and want to know what software is the easiest and best to use on my Mac in order to open the PQ. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
+redwoodkestrel
You shouldn't need to open it to get it into your GPSr - just unzip it. Once it's unziped you'll have two gpx files, one for caches and one for waypoints. Connect your Garmin to your computer and open it up just like you would a usb drive. Drag the gpx files into the appropriate folders. If for some reason you do want to open a gpx file, programs like GSAK or Google Earth can do it. Quote Link to comment
AZcachemeister
If for some reason you do want to open a gpx file, programs like GSAK or Google Earth can do it. GSAK is a windows-only program, so it's a no-go unless the OP is using a windows emulator. Quote Link to comment
+ClemB
You can use MacCaching to view GPX files on your Macbook Pro. That's what I use. Quote Link to comment
