Entering Coordinates (Garmin Oregon 550)

Hi all. I'm new to Waymarking and I'm at the point of entering my coordinates on three new waymarks that I have located. However, I'm doing something wrong here. When I found the waymarks, I made a waypoint for each one on my Garmin and named it thinking it would show the coordinates when I got home. However, it does not. I'm having a time trying to figure out where my coordiantes are? Anyone have a Garmin Oregon 550 that can help me. Thanks

Here are a couple of ways to see the coordinates:

 

Where To > Waypoints > select waypoint > press button at top of map screen.

 

Waypoint Manager > select waypoint > Change location

So simple. . .but I never would have found it, lol. Thank you so much. I was making all of those steps except for selecting the top of the map screen.

I'd suggest pulling the waypoints out with a piece of software, such as Garmin Basecamp, and then you can copy and paste coordinates, eliminating any chance of typos.

 

Of course it would be nicer if one could just import the waypoint directly to the Waymarking website, but you can't do that yet.

I also rename my Waypoint to something relevant so that when I copy the coordinates off my GPSr, I am not trying to 'remember' what Waypoint 007 was as opposed to Waypoint 008. One may be named Blue Abstract for a blue abstract sculpture then the next may be Crawford House for a NRHP location.
