+ECplus3
My first coin was a Red Handed micro. It was an FTF prize in a puzzle cache placed near my home. Quote Link to comment

+badger10
It was the a geocoin challenge for the city of Richland Wa. It required finding ten specific caches. Those were also our geofamilies first caches as well. Quote Link to comment
+yanagi
Mine was a Geocachers Day Coin and it was stolen after roughly 10.000km: TB21Z3Y Quote Link to comment
CW88
Crakes Tracking Time Geocoin! This was also my first coin, and probably still one of my favourites Quote Link to comment
+imoutnabout
I "think" this is the first one I bought. I know it's the first one I set free. Unfortunately it disappeared, so I traded for another and that one is safely in my collection. It's still one of my favorites...cute and fun. Quote Link to comment
+mo pirate
I think my first was the Cache Movers Coin/tag. Out of several hundred that I activated, it is one that is missing. Only about 50 are still going. Quote Link to comment
+Tschakko
I think it was this one... But it has been stolen... Ever since I miss it a lot... Quote Link to comment
Troutonthebrain
The first geocoin I owned was an Army Man 4 geocoin. The original coin was stolen, but I have sent out the code as something else. At least when I ordered it I ordered two so I still have his brother at home with me. Quote Link to comment
+mamoreb
Very interesting that this thread should come up right now! I got my first geocoin for my birthday in 2010. It was the Norwegian geocoin 2007. Of course I understood that it was beautiful, but I didn't realize that it was rare and might disappear fast if I sent it out travelling: http://coord.info/TB1AV86 Well, my coin went travelling that same day, its goal was to visit all 18 states of Norway. By the end of 2011 it had managed 16! After that, a year with movements only in the wrong directions, but still not stolen. Finally, yesterday, a fellow geocacher from another part of the country brought the coin back to me. Now it sits right here in my drawer together with my collection of other Norwegian coins. I wish that the coin will visit the last two states, but I'm too scared that it will disappear. I hope to finish the journey myself, or perhaps in the hands of someone I know I can trust. +TeamEccs21
Our first Geocoin was the Rusty o Junk. We found it in one of our earliest finds and new since it wasn't trackable to treat it as swag. Since we didn't have another coin, our personal hadn't been minted yet, we left about everything in our swag bag in an effort to trade even. We still have it in our first binder of coins. +avroair
Found a 2003 USA geocoin in a cache: 2003 USA Geocoin Loved the icon, then went looking for more icons, which led to me making a personal coin in April of 2004 and trading with Moun10bike. +BlueEyedAussie
My first was the Oak Coins Oak Leaf, loved it so much I got the Christmas and St. Patrick's versions too... and many others since! Quote Link to comment
+JackHoe
My first geocoin was Happy Caching - Toadstool Geocoin. I put it in a cache in august 2008 and it disappeared. After 3 years GeoGraaffie asked me if he could use the tracking number, as the coin was missing after all. I agreed and transferred the code to him. 5 days later he was contacted by somebody who had the coin. After a few mails and a letter in the post, the coin got home again. Now it's hanging on my wall with the letter with which it came back; Quote Link to comment
+drneal
i'm not positive, but i believe the first geocoin i activated was a chiro-cache (the dogs on the front are Logan and Heineken) the first coin i remember seeing and holding was a caching the pumpkin patch. ILYK Quote Link to comment
+Six Little Spookies
As near as I can tell the first coins I activated were a set of 4 Blazing Sun micros. Three were sent traveling, one was kept for the collection. One of those micros still pops up about once a year. Haven't heard from the others for a while... But I think the first coins I owned were a pair of Team Sand Dollar v2.5. They were activated a week after the Blazing Suns. I had a black one and a silver one. The black one went traveling, and actually record its goal destination! Then, on th way back it got stalled in the Southwest. It disappeared for a year, then popped back up only to go silent after a move or two. Quote Link to comment
+Condorito
MY first Geocoin (unless you count farmtagz and trackable tshirts and geocoins) was one i had made for me... It is based on my username Condorito. I had 50 of them made, and only some have been activated Edited April 15, 2013 by Condorito Quote Link to comment
