+humboldt flier
I know this is the wrong area of the forums, however, I thought it might get wider "play time" before they boot it to the tech section. Anyone familiar with a tablet that: Plays well with GSAK Has a USB port to then download GSAK databases into GPS'r units. Thanks all ... hope they let this bang around here for a while before they boot it to the tech section. Cache On. Edited April 1, 2013 by humboldt flier Quote Link to comment
GOF and Bacall
Probably should be in the forums at GSAK. Quote Link to comment

AZcachemeister
GSAK runs on windows...exclusively. GDAK may be helpful, especially if you have a PC running GSAK. Quote Link to comment

+AndyT1
If you want to run GSAK on a tablet it must run the full version of Win 8, not Win 8 RT Quote Link to comment

+Lieblweb
I had this 'concern' over Christmas. Wanted a tablet but still wanted to run GSAK and be able to load the GPS's.... I ended up buying a netbook Acer Aspire ONE 11.6" with Windows 7 Home Premium installed. It's a small sized laptop basically but without a CD/DVD port. USB ports and all... Haven't officially used it to load the GPS's yet...but GSAK is installed on it and fully functional. Quote Link to comment
+Walts Hunting
Bought one of those last month for the sole purpose of running GSAK when traveling. Quote Link to comment
