+renelm
I am getting a lot of 'Service not available' from the API server today when using GSAK. I cannot download PQs, refresh, get new access token etc. in GSAK. I tried removing my access token in GSAK, but can't get it back as I get a 'service not available' when trying to re-add it. The odd thing is, that GDAK on my phone happily refreshes data, downloads PQs etc. The full response I get in GSAK: ChilkatLog: QuickGetStr: DllDate: Aug 5 2012 UnlockPrefix: GSAKNEHttp Username: SEVEN:rene Architecture: Little Endian; 32-bit Language: ActiveX VerboseLogging: 0 QuickReq: url: https://api.Groundspeak.com/LiveV6/Geocaching.svc/GetAPILimits?AccessToken=(AccessToken} QuickGetToOutput_OnExisting: qGet_1: simpleHttpRequest_3: httpMethod: GET requestUrl: https://api.Groundspeak.com/LiveV6/Geocaching.svc/GetAPILimits?AccessToken=(AccessToken} IE_Proxy: gw.intet:3128 IE_ProxyEnabled: 0 Using existing connection to web server... -- BuildGetRequest -- IE_Proxy: gw.intet:3128 IE_ProxyEnabled: 0 Auto-adding any accumulated cookies. +Beach_hut
I am getting these too, both when GSAK tries to retrieve my trackable inventory and my profile info. Edit: the Geosphere app on my phone is not able to talk to the API today either. Edited March 30, 2013 by Beach_hut Quote Link to comment
+The A-Team
I just tried doing a refresh in GSAK, and it failed for me too. Oddly, though, the official iPhone app is still working just fine. I've always been under the impression that it uses the API, but maybe it doesn't. Quote Link to comment
+SchmeitzM en KoolenL
Here is the same problem. Quote Link to comment
+Cacheator
Similar story here, although downloading PQs worked when I tried the fourth or fifth time. Getting an access token did work as well, but publishing logs doesn't work. The service seems to be buggy somehow . Hope the americans wake up soon... Greetings from Switzerland Quote Link to comment
+poenni
I've the same problems with multiple GSAK macros since this morning ... Perhaps it's a temporary problem based on performance problems? Kind regards, Poenni Quote Link to comment
+DanPan
Same issue here... "Fetching PQ list" takes ages. Quote Link to comment
Justin
Thank you for the feedback, we truly appreciate it. We've been working toward establishing a root cause and have added additional resources to the pool of API servers that GSAK and other Live applications rely on. If you all are still experiencing issues, please update this thread and be descriptive of the queries and requests your are running. Our monitoring and alerting have subsided with recent changes, but we understand there still may be issues that we aren't seeing. Quote Link to comment

+renelm
Getting rather consistent 'Service unavailable'-messages again. Did the hamsters collapse? EDIT: .. and 5 minutes later, it seems to be ok again Edited April 11, 2013 by renelm Quote Link to comment
