+Math Teacher
So, I enjoy cross-posting. I found an interesting marker and do not want to resign it solely to the Signs of History as I believe it could fit elsewhere. Any ideas? The text of the marker reads: In 194 a Swedish Diplomat, Raoul Wallenberg was given a daring assignment by the United States and Swedish governments: Save the Jews of Hungry from the Nazi Holocaust. This brave hero ultimately saved 100,000 Jewish lives. As the war drew to a close, Mr. Wallenberg was captured and imprisoned in the Soviet Union. Though declared dead in July 1947, he has been reported to have been seen in prison as late as 1980. Acclaimed one of the greatest heroes of the 20th century and an inspiration to all nations and all people. Raoul Wallenberg was made an honorary U.S. citizen on October 5, 1981. Thanks! +BruceS
Wouldn't that fit in Holocaust Memorials... but you would know better than most as you are the leader of that group Unless that is where you are cross posting from. Edited March 24, 2013 by BruceS Quote Link to comment
+Ianatlarge
"Citizen Memorials" would be an appropriate category. Quote Link to comment
