Remove geocaches from my search that need maintenance

I would suggest not necessarily weeding them out. There are a large number that still have the "need maintenance" attribute on them long after they've been serviced. Heck, I'm guilty of forgetting to reset that attribute. You might just filter out perfectly good caches.

 

But experiment too. Sometimes trial and error is the only way you know for sure.

Indeed.

Just because they 'Need Maintenance' doesn't necessarily mean they are un-findable.

 

OTOH, I do filter out disabled caches.
