Importing to Garmin unit gpx file as POI

I have spent several hour searching for the right option importing gpx file as POI to Garmin Oregon and as POI with proximity alert to Car Nuvi.

Gpx file is a 200 kB file of historical objects and locations.

 

Please give advice! Thanks!

 

Devices I have: handheld Oregon 550, Nuvi 1340. PC Windows 7.

 

When trying to open gpx with Map Source there an error File history.gpx "couldn't be imported"

 

I found also interesting but from 2008 and possibly is outdated:

I haven't done POI to Oregon before.

 

But I have done POI to nuvi using a GSAK macro:
