Any South Yorkshire geocaches out there?

I was wondering as I'm am relatively new to the geocaching if there was any groups for Yorkshire or South Yorkshire geocaches out there, as so far I have meet no other geocaches unless they are all hiding just like me when they see someone

I am in South Yorkshire too at the top side Nr Penistone and still learning my last out was Cherry Tree Trundle still getting the mud off my boots from that one.

I am in Penistone too....anyone had any luck finding a group? I tried a link for Yorkshire but it was dead.

As I replied on the topic about creating a "Little Quest Wales" series of caches, the same applies here...

 

Not a lot of UK geocachers use this forum now (not nearly as busy as it was a couple of years ago!) Most of the daily geocaching online 'chat' takes place on regional geocaching groups on facebook so it might be worth your while joining one or two. There's one called Yorkshire Geocachers, another called Yorkshire Geocaching, and there are many other broader UK geocaching groups.
