Alerts!

Hi All,

On reading logs it is clear that it is possible to set alerts to come through when a new geocache is published locally. I have no idea how to do this so could someone help please? I'm thinking it may be something to do with Pocket Queries but I have no idea how they work either......

Thank you in advance :)

See if this is what you want for "Alerts":

Pocket Queries are not hard at all. The most basic way to make one is to type a GC code or Zip Code into the appropriate box, Submit, and you get a list of 500 of the nearest caches to that point. Then just click a couple of options to fine-tune it, select a day to run it, and you'll get a Zip file of GPX cache pages and their waypoints. The Pocket Query page has a help section to walk you through that. But PQs aren't part of the new cache notifications, that's a different thing.

Sounds like you're looking to set up "notifications".
