Wherigo 2.0 will be further development / evolution of the actual immatured Wherigo concept. Are there already some detailed informations about that "project"? I have read these rumors in a german Geocaching blog: The future of Wherigo-Caches The article has the headline "Die Zukunft der Wherigo-Caches" ("The future of Wherigo-Caches") and discusses the (bad/unsatisfied) situation of the Wherigo cache type and its possible future. Unfortunately there is no english translation for international readers. The author of the articel writes, that last sommer "Brian" und "Jeremy" gave some statements about the topic "Wherigo". They said, that because of the termination of the "Challanges" some Groudnspeak resources became free for a project "Wherigo 2.0". Furthermore during the "Geogames" in Leipzig (Germany) Jeremy confirmed, that Groundspeak is working on this project intensively. Above all "Wherigo 2.0" will be playable with smartphones.
