Yes, a GPS app that allows you to enter coordinates to travel to is the bare minimum, but most people pick up a dedicated geocaching app.

I used NeonGeo on my S3 for a short while.

Then someone recommended CacheSense.

I have not even thought of looking for a different app since I DL'ed CacheSense.

Go ahead and break the bank and get the app here My link. I have been using the app and it works great. If battery useage on the phone wasn't a problem, this app would be all you need.
