+Jeff. . .
Hey guys, I have had this 2005 Texas state coin around for quite a few years. I was hoping you guys could give me some insight into whether it is a coin of any value, or if it is common and worthless. Below are pictures, thanks! Edited March 5, 2013 by Jeff. . . +nevadanick
You might try contacting - filler & bcat - through their GC profile. They are still active and seem to have been involved in a lot of the Texas 2005 coin/geocoin activities. Their profile indicates currently being in CT but I'm sure they can give you some accurate details. Looking at the coin in your pic it seems to have only a coin edition number, not a tracking number. There are several similar coins I found circa Texas 2005 that DO have tracking ID's. Quote Link to comment

+Log Dawgs
It is more common than you would imagine. It is referred to as the Texas Hiker. Goes for around $10 or so. The 2004 Texas Coin is harder to find. Quote Link to comment
