+queenvic71
Hello Fellow cachers. We are taking a cruise starting out of Miami April 20th 2013. And would like to know if their are any fellow cachers that will be aboard the same ship ( Carnival Liberty ) If so I would like to hold an event during the first evening of our sailing on the Lido deck. If anyone knows how to set up an event without knowing the exact co-ords. Please let me know. Or do I just post it here and hope for the best that people show up. Maybe I can get them to anounce it over the speaker after the ship has sailed. Anyone have any thoughts about this. Thanks Quote Link to comment
+The Jester
We'd love to attend, but we don't depart until the 27th (also on Carnival). I'm not sure you can make an "official" event, but good luck with meeting other cachers on board. Quote Link to comment

Maybe we can meet before you board and when we disembark. Quote Link to comment
+T.D.M.22
No there can't be an event on a ship that has set sail. You could host an event when you disembark for some of that touristy stuff on one of the stopovers. Quote Link to comment
+Road Rabbit
Post a note at the bulletin board near the Purser's desk. There's one of those on almost every ship I've been on. Quote Link to comment

We'll see a couple of sights in the morning, grab a cache or two, and then park the car and board (can you believe it's cheaper to rent a car for the whole time and park it during the cruise, then to rent one before and one after the cruise?). +GrateBear
Go to CruiseCritic.com and check out the thread for your cruise. The link is http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1513067 You might find some fellow cachers by posting there. Quote Link to comment
+Dread_Pirate_Bruce
I have seen where someone put a small 4-color geocaching sticker on the boarding ramp of a ship at about eye-level. Most people won't even notice it. Most of those who do, will ignore it. But, a geocacher will very likely spot it. That, in turn, triggered a quick search for a note on the bulletin board.
