Search for Night Caches

Recommended Posts

Hello from Germany,

I'm wondering if there is any possibiltiy to search for night caches only. Do you guys know how to do that?

If there is no way to do so, wouldn't it be nice to create an option for this kind of search?

Thank you in advance for your answers.

Greetz,

You can go and create a pocket query of the area you will be searching for caches in, and select the 'Night Cache' attribute in the 'Attributes to Include' section...

This is the way I would do it...

Sounds simple... Thank you for your hint.

Often a night cache will have NIGHT CACHE in the title somewhere, also worth searching for :)

And once you find one night cache, check the bookmark lists that it belongs to. Some are probably bookmark lists of night caches.

Hi Tobias,

The night caching attributes help, but not everyone uses them. I tend to look for bookmark lists on caches that I know are night caches.

It looks like you've found some good night caches lately. If you go back to those cache pages, they all appear to be on several bookmark lists of night caches, including this one that has over 2,000 night caches in and around the Netherlands! That should keep you busy for a while.

edit: just saw nariD's post. So, there you go. Bookmark lists work.
