+GoudHaartje
Hi, We are a group of 4 geocaching women form the Netherlands and we are planning to visit London in June. London has so many caches we lost track a bit. Can someone recommend caches we really must do ? Thank you PS We would like to go to the Ceremony of the Keys at the Tower of London. In order to get tickets you have to sent a request including an self-addressed envelope with the required amount of stamps. But of course we don't have these in the Netherlands. Can somebody help us with this problem ? Thanks Quote Link to comment

+Dave's Piglings
I've not done many in London, but really enjoyed the one at the British Library. It's a multi, took me about an hour, is (mostly) indoors if the weather isn't good and is the biggest cache I've found so far The British Library Quote Link to comment
+MTH
Another vote for the British Library - great idea and a massive cache. A few other ideas: The Winchester Geese for some very interesting local hiistory The Clock Tower should have you going round in circles The Wonder of Waterhouse great cache in the Natural History Museum if you have the time The London Rainbow series of virtual caches and one physical takes you to some less obvious parts of the city Father Thames & The Mermaid (AS TIDES GOES BY) on the Thames foreshore if the tide is low enough Edited February 26, 2013 by MTH Quote Link to comment
+MTH
And some more: London Invasion just brilliant - one of my favourites The Tin Pan Alley Band another brilliant cache R.E. HEDGES 1973 (Near Millenium Bridge, London) a challenging cache, but currently disabled The Catastrophe, Calamity, Cataclysm series is worth doing The Jack the Ripper series is interesting in a ghoulish way There are plenty of other really interesting caches, but part of the fun is discovering these for yourself. If you have some time and inclination there are some challenging puzzles too - look at some of the caches by Jekub or Heartstones1. Edited February 26, 2013 by MTH Quote Link to comment
BOBBLES WORLD TOUR
Why don't you organise an event for a meet up with other nearby cachers. Or keep an eye out for an event, or even get some advise from, "Goldpot", the owner of The Tin Pan Alley cache. He's the King of London events and has been known to organise some while caching abroad too. Us London cachers would love to meet 4 Dutch Girls. Quote Link to comment
+MartyBartfast
Take a river boat down to Greenwich where there are some interesting virtuals such as Royal Observatory Greenwich Cache as well as plenty of historical places to go and the Observatory itself. The boat trip is about 30 minutes but it's much more interesting than going by tube. Quote Link to comment

+GoudHaartje
Got some great suggestions. Thank you very much. :) But unfortunately is our problem with the tickets for the Ceremony of the Keys not solved. Could a British cacher help us out with that by ordering these tickets for us ? Ofcours we will pay you back the costs and you will be rewarded with our eternal gratitude. Quote Link to comment

Just an FYI which could be handy for the next person asking or until HRP updates their website. After a few phonecalls today I found out IRC's are no longer for sale in the UK, reference Here Quote Link to comment

+whh0
We had a lovely walk along the Thames from Tower Bridge (starting at GC10 Tower Bridge), then all along the Thames from the Tower of London to Westminster about 8 or 9 caches altogether along that stretch. Ending up on the London Eye at sunset which was beautiful. Quote Link to comment
