Maintenance Spanner

Hi all.

 

First time user of this forum stuff so I hope I am doing the right thing and not asking the same question that has been answered already somewhere else. (Please bare with me)

 

I have a few geocaches that show up as needing maintenance (red spanner) but these have been repaired or no longer need repair so I am just wondering how I can have these red spanners removed on the listing page?

If someone logs a "Needs Maintenance" log, this sets the attribute on the cache listing.

If the owner logs an "Owner Maintenance" log after fixing the cache, this removes the attribute from the cache listing.

There are a couple of places where an "owner maintenance" log is mentioned, like here:

Go to your cache page, and click on "Log your visit" in the upper right.

 

On the "Post a New Log" page, click on the arrow beside "Select type of log" and then choose "Owner Maintenance" at the bottom of the list.

Another possible option is to edit the attributes of your cache(s), and remove the attribute.
