+nbjb
I'm hosting my first ever event next month. I thought I saw somewhere about Groundspeak doing donations for events, but I haven't been able to find anything about it. Does anyone know if they donate? Is it only to certain sized (large or mega) events? Are there others that donate to geocaching events? I am hoping to have a great first event and would like to have some nice prizes. Thanks! They will but you must contact them at least three weeks before the event I believe. Many of the geocoin and geocaching supply companies online will also donate to events. The key is to send them a nice email several weeks before the event to ask them. Quote Link to comment

+Semper Questio
You can always ask local businesses for gift certificate or swag donations also. I have an annual event at a local restaurant and they donate several gift certificates, t-shirts, and more for prizes and they also provide tables, canopies, and a PA for me to use at the event. In exchange, I bring them about 150 hungry customers for about 3 hours on a quiet Sunday afternoon. Quote Link to comment

+LordGero95
One question. Do you want advertising for your shop, coin or so? Because 10 coins have a high value (for me). Or do you spend them because you're a veeeery nice people and want to see other people smiling? I have the biggest respect. Best regards, LordGero95 Quote Link to comment
