+tweetiepy
If I have the coords to a starting point, and I have the distance I need as well as the bearing how do I get the coords to this new location without having to actually be at the coords & projecting from there? I've done the former but this puzzle has a checker but I wanted to know how to do that on my Magellan Exploris 310 thanks in advance. Quote Link to comment
AZcachemeister
I'm not sure about the Explorist, but I can project a waypoint from any existing waypoint in my Meridian. There are lots of websites and software that can do this too. Quote Link to comment

If you are at home, use one of the many online or downloadable tools. Fizzycalc is my preference. Quote Link to comment
+Ike 13
GSAK will do it, I know there is a website that can do it and most GPS units have a way to do it but each is different. Check out this site: http://www.geolifeline.com/projection.php Quote Link to comment
+StarBrand
I prefer FizzyCalc - created by a fellow Geocacher: http://www.fizzymagic.net/Geocaching/FizzyCalc/index.html Quote Link to comment
