+fitbobcat
I can download cache pictures on my Magellan GC Explorist. Any Suggestions? Quote Link to comment
+TeamRabbitRun
If there are pictures on the cache page, the display on the GC will LOOK LIKE they've been downloaded, meaning that it will say something like "PICTURES (2)". But, the pics down't really download with Magellan's "Communicator" utility. If you click on this link, the GC will tell you that you need to download pics with VantagePoint software. It's an alternative to using Communicator from the GS website. You can grab caches in VantagePoint and download them WITH their pictures. You can get VP from Magellan's website: MagellanGPS.com ...Bill Quote Link to comment
+6NoisyHikers
As a GC user, I highly recommend NOT bothering to add the cache pictures to the unit. They are useless to look at as they don't size right for the screen. If the pictures are necessary to find the cache, print them out. Quote Link to comment
+Graculus
See this post of mine in this forum about using the GC and Vantage Point. It may help you.
