GeoCache GPS Ipad2 app?

Hello there.

I am confused and troubled with this.

I am using the Ios app L4C Free.

 

I add a cache to my categories. But then when i head outside with my ipad the GPS Navigation won't work.

I can view logs and info that was already downloaded.

 

The compass is pointing from my home to the location. Not from the actual location the GPS is currently at. I obviously have no internet outdoors.

But i'll need my GPS/Ipad to bring me to the location of the cache.

 

So, does anyone knows a good free ios app that can bring me to my location?

You say you don't have Internet outside... If I recall correctly, the "Wireless Only" version of the iPad2 doesn't have a GPS. You need the 3G version to get a GPS.

Hi,

 

if you have a WiFi-only iPad there is no GPS inside. The GPS module is only available if you have a iPad with 3G / 4G.

 

If so, it´s not a problem of the app.

 

You can use a external GPS device like BadElf with a Wifi only iPad.
