Hiding a cache under two usernames

Hi all

My friend and I geocache together often but not all the time, therefore we log finds under our own usernames rather than a team login.

We do, however, want to HIDE caches together, and create a series.

Is the only way to do this to create a new username (ie, a team) and hide them under that? Or can two users hide one cache and have it show as suc?

Kind Regards,

A cache can only be owned by one user account name.

If the two of you want to hide a series together you can either

Hide the caches under one (or other) of your current account names, and the other cacher puts them all on Watchlist so they see all the logs. You can put both your names in the 'hidden by' field on the cache page but it will only link back to the one account name that created the cache page.

OR

Create a new account name for the two of you, specifically for hiding the caches. You'll have to trust each other enough to share the password for the account. ;) The log emails will only be sent to one email address.

Whether it's one or five, when notifications come for a hide, one of you get emails.

The "other guy" can simply put each cache on his watchlist for notifications.

- Instead of "Locker101" on the cache page, you could call yourselves "Locker and Bacon" or any other name you dream up (within reason).

The system knows who you are when you send it to review.
