+tweetiepy
How do you use google earth? this is a new thing to me. Can I input a whole bunch of coords in it at once and it will put a nice dot where each coord is? I hope it does - can it do that? and if yes, how do I do this? Quote Link to comment
+StarBrand
On topic - you can just drop your Geocaching GPX PQ file into Google Earth and it just works - opens all the caches with cool symbols and clickable info. Generate a .GPX or .LOC file and drop it onto GE to get what you want. I think even a CSV file will work great. Quote Link to comment
+tweetiepy
This is a little different, the coords are listed on the cache page as part of the puzzle (there are about 1000 of them) I wanted to see if they made some sort of design that would point to the correct one. So far I think it's a manual job Quote Link to comment

How actually do I do that? What I have tried so far doesn't work, so there must be something I'm missing although it's obvious to you. Quote Link to comment
+StarBrand
Open google earth. shrnk the window a bit so it doesn't fill the whole screen. Drag the GPX file over the top of the Google Earth window and let go of the mouse button. Done. or Just open the GPX file via the menu in GE. Quote Link to comment

This worked after I saved the gpx file to my computer; just from the download it didn't work. or Just open the GPX file via the menu in GE. This worked after I figured out I had to chage the file-type that GE was looking for. Quote Link to comment
