kitten8777
I just started caching about a week ago and I have seen that some caches need pictures of you showing gps but i use a phone for my gps so how do i do the picture? Quote Link to comment
+cerberus1
Good question. We've noticed that phone finders usually do the arm-stretched, "take a pic of myself" pose, which usually suffices. Quote Link to comment

+Chief301
+1 Just take a picture if yourself with some landmark or feature behind you that the CO would recognize as being at the cache site. That should suffice as proof that you were there (if that's what the CO is looking for) Quote Link to comment
kitten8777
Thank you. Also adding pictures most not be an option with the app or I am just blind lol Quote Link to comment
+Mandragu
@ Kitten: You can decide for yourself, if you do upload a picture as wanted or don't. Caches which need pictures: it's an "additional log requirement", and that's not allowed anymore nowadays. When it's an earth cache, it would be of course polite, if you present a picture. But you decide, if you add just a picture of the location, a picture of your GPS, or indeed a picture of yourself to the found log. For Earth Caches I normally add a picture of my notebook at the location to the log. Always ok. Edited January 31, 2013 by Mandragu Quote Link to comment

No one can list new virtual caches, but the existing ones remain in place, and their logging requirements (e.g., photos) are still enforceable. Quote Link to comment
+Bear and Ragged
Easily done... Easier if you have a keyring/small item like a toy/signature item that you can use in your photos. (There is NO requirement to show your face!) (Even on the Waymarking side of things, the photo of a GPS is only needed specifically on a few categories, most will accept the photos without a GPS in the photo) Quote Link to comment
