Weaselboy2
I talked some friends of mine into joining and when filling out their details the put that I recommended the site. Was wondering if there's any way this shows up on my profile or if I get anything for it? Quote Link to comment

cerberus1
Not that I'm aware of, but it was worth a shot, right ? Quote Link to comment
Weaselboy2
Yeah you never know. My friend was asking what I got out of it and I was pretty surprised that with all the stats on the profiles that this wasn't tracked in some way. Getting more people out and about is it's own reward Quote Link to comment
StarBrand
Not that I am personally interested in any such credit - but it would be hard to make retroactive for old time accounts and players. Quote Link to comment
NeverSummer
Market research could be performed with a survey of "how did you hear about us" in the sign up process. However, there is no way to accurately capture who invited whom beyond that initial capture. This might be helpful to mold the process of advertising and recruiting. IE, is Groundspeak getting bang-for-their-buck with partnerships offering 30-day free premium memberships when you buy a GPS unit, etc. Quote Link to comment
